Fun In The Sun

A scorching day in Cambridge today, hitting 31 degrees. This gave us all an opportunity to take time out from exam revision and sit in the sun for a while.

Today’s photos will be appearing in the gallery soon, some really nice ones of my friend Layla and of Trinity College. It was my first test of my new polarising filter (and a great success). I also received my infra-red camera filter today and will be playing with this and posting photos soon (seems pretty good from initial fiddling) :)

Talking of photos I found a very interesting website today which is a photo-map of Cambridge in 2000. It seems the creators tried to build a virtual tour of the whole of Cambridge. They efforts have produced something rather fun to play with for a while [look for Girton my/the best college :p ]

Also hung out with Ruth today who, for once, allowed me to distract her from her immense revision keenness!

With exams set to begin on Wednesday this is also a good point to ask “are British students over-examed and under-taught?” which is now a discussion & post in the forum.

Night night world :)
