nick’s (n)-line life

University exams in two days, augh, very worrying!
Things have been quite quiet here with the revision. Rather boring life until my May week begins on the 8th (the sole advantage of early exams).

On the plus side my working visa for Hong Kong has now come through (yay) so I’ll definitely be off to Hong Kong in July. I’m very excited about my vac scheme here and the travels that will follow in Laos (which, of course, is the main reason I set up my blog). I’ve also been in touch with the other participants in my Norton Rose vac scheme. They seem nice and I’m looking forward to getting involved in this work.

A few days ago I found a funny, and rather accurate, cartoon guide to backpackers actually I’ve alre4ady written a similar (but rather more cynical) text version about travellers in general and I’ll now try and finish and post it in the next few months.

Finally, a note on this site. I’ve now virtually finished the hefty revamp of the this website. I’ll import the few news items into this blog and touch up the CSS to make it all pretty and stuff and it will be done. Now I just need to find a decent readership :p
