Sorry to pander to the rather popularist slandering of the lovely American president but the following caught my eye:

US President George Bush has dismissed as “absurd” an Amnesty International report that said the US was setting back the cause of human rights.

The human rights group described the US Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba as “the gulag of our time”.

Oh the foolishness of those who voted for you Mr Bush. I can’t even bring myself to write a full and frank account of why you and your country are not just the axis of evil but the entire sodding mechanism. Guantanamo bay is only the tip of an Iceberg of inhumanity and economic-imperialism which stretches back decades (think Vietnam, Iraq (1990), Iraq (2003), Mexico, Laos, Cambodia, Taiwan, and the Philippines to name but a few).

I particularly liked:

“In terms of the detainees, we’ve had thousands of people detained, we’ve investigated every single complaint,” he said.

and

“I think the fact of the matter is the United States has done more to advance the cause of freedom, has liberated more people from tyranny over the course of the 20th century and up to the present day than any other nation in the history of the world,” said the vice president.

Why can’t the fool just admit the truth that America is doing it’s best to cripple the welfare of other countries in its rush to maintain its world domination.

Mr Bush said its accusations therefore stemmed from “people who hate America, people that have been trained in some instances to disassemble, that means not tell the truth”.

and he sounds surprised! Mr Bush, if you just linked your “I think the fact of the matter is the United States has done more to advance the cause of freedom, has liberated more people from tyranny” with “”people who hate America” we might be getting somewhere. It’s not an irrational hate is it? There’s a good bloody reason for it!

Quite apart from that I don’t know how we are expected to trust a man who clearly doesn’t know the difference between “dissemble” and “disassemble”. No George they might sound similar but they really don’t have the same meaning (which you obviously had to have explained to you anyway)

Ah well, let’s not worry about it Mr Bush. We both know the harsh truth… China will get you soon enough… :D
