I Hate Mondays

—–BEGIN BAD DAY NOTIFICATION—–
What a nightmare day…
It started the way it meant to go on. I had been intending to get up at 3am-ish to cram for my international exam but instead woke at 6am to find I’d slept through my alarm.

Things got worse when I went out to my bike and found I’d got a flat… great, just what I needed on the morning of an exam. After some emergency pumping (and swearing) I got the bike going again (but my bike has the novel feature of deflating it’s front type every hour or so…)

I was heading off toward my exam when some idiot in a small brown Volvo, who probably cheated to pass his driving test, very nearly took me out on Storey’s Way, cutting just a few inches away from me in his impatience to get past (and received hearty articulation of his foolishness from myself)

I had my international exam at 9am. This went extraordinarily badly. Very , very badly. I’m thinking I might well have failed this one.

Finally I got home, read a few emails and promptly went to sleep for a few hours (to catch up on my screwed up sleeping pattern), waking later with a headache.
What a day!

3 pearly little gems of wisdom to “I Hate Mondays”

  1. 1 Sion

Ooh i like small brown Volvos, especially old ones! What model was it in particular? If I was ever to be killed by a car, I’d want it to be a Volvo. Anything less than that and I’d be very upset.
Sorry to sound so morbid. And I’m sure you’ll be okay overall - work hard for SPS!

  2. 2 Brian

Nice sympathy Sion - might’ve known! Oh dear I’m sure it went OK. You didn’t say anything to an invigilator? They might have taken account of your stress if it really went very badly.

  3. 3 Nick

I’m sure he’ll be desperate to run me over next time after the abuse I hurled at him! ;)

Just SPS left tomorrow! Can’t wait to finish! :D
