Along with China Law Blog and others, we've followed the developments on this irony closely. According to IP Dragon, Mr. Lehman of Lehman, Lee, and Xu (the firm running China Blawg) is a Who's Who of Chinese trademark law. Paired with the fact that China Blawg completely renovated their site within 24 hours of the media attention, it seems that Lehman, et al, were suckered by a lazy web designer. China Law Blog has expressed a sentiment of 'no hard feelings.'

Cheers to the parties involved for effectuating a quick and civil solution.

Thanks for running this post as it helps gets the word out and thanks, in particular, for documenting this. Strange thing is that I do not really think of any firm as a "competitor" as there is more than enough China work out there and there is only so much any one firm can do. We have very close relationships with a number of law firms throughout China, which, in many ways, makes this even more troubling.
